EXAMINATION

The college conducts First Year Junior College (F.Y.J.C.) and the HSC Board conducts the Second Year Junior College (S.Y.J.C.) final examinations. The schemes are briefly stated below.

XI students will have to appear for 2 unit tests which comprises of 25 marks each and have to appear for 2 semesters which comprises of 50 marks and 80 marks respectively. And an internal will be conducted in the final semester which is of 20 marks. And EVS exam will be conducted which will be of 50 marks and PT exam which will be of 50 marks.

And the students will be qualified for SYJC if in aggregate he has passed. The exam pattern of SYJC will be same as instructed by the HSC Board. And then as per the guidance of HSC Board proper oral examination will be conducted of which marks will be added in the final score. So attendance should be compulsory and the projects/assignments should be submitted on time.

Note

Unfair means at examination:

A Committee has been constituted for the purpose of looking into the unfair means adopted by FYJC/SYJC students at the examinations like Unit Test, Term-end Examination, etc. if a student is found using unfair means, the Junior Supervisor shall make a report to that effect along with the evidence thereon and a statement of the student, and report to the Senior Supervisor/ Examination Committee who will then refer the matter to the Unfair means Inquiry Committee for necessary inquiry and recommend to the Principal, the action to be taken , keeping in view of the provision of sections 34 & 56.5 of the SS Code.

Examination rules.

  • Mobile phones and gadgets not allowed.
  • If anyone found in copy case strict action will be taken
  • Open day for every exam.
  • On time submission of projects.
  • Only parents are allowed for open day
